Illegal Possession and Release of Female Wolf

PRESS RELEASE- On October 17th, Game Warden TR Dooley investigated a case regarding the illegal possession and release of a female wolf in Stephens County. The individual was cited and the wolf was captured and turned over to a legally permitted facility. Please be aware that in Georgia, there are a number of animals that are not legal to have as pets for a variety of reasons related to safety and public health.
