PRESS RELEASE – On Monday, November 3, 2025, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the FBI Atlanta-Gainesville Resident Agency regarding an ongoing Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) case where the suspect was determined to live in Stephens County.

Following an arrest made by the FBI Pittsburgh Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force in Pennsylvania, the FBI Atlanta-Gainesville office received information regarding Jimmie Dominici, Jr., 59 of Toccoa.

During the investigation, agents discovered electronic messages containing child exploitation material which were exchanged between Dominici, Jr., and the individual arrested in Pennsylvania during the months of February through August of this year.

The subject matter was sexual in nature, including the dissemination of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and videos of subjects engaging in bestiality.

When SCSO investigators reviewed the case, they confirmed the material included CSAM and bestiality.

Videos contained inappropriate material of children ranging in age from four months old to eight years old, as well as various incidents involving dogs.

On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, SCSO investigators presented the case to a judge and obtained four arrest warrants.

At approximately 1 p.m., they executed an arrest and the search warrants at Dominici, Jr.’s residence on Cawthon Road.

During the search of the residence, investigators located and collected various electronic devices to be analyzed at a later date.

Dominici, Jr., was arrested and transported to the Stephens County Jail without further incident. He remains in jail pending a bond hearing with a Stephens County magistrate judge for the following charges: three counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children and Bestiality.

Through further information obtained from the FBI Pittsburgh Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force, it was determined that the four-month old was positively identified and rescued. The suspect was arrested in Ohio on sexual assault charges.

Special thanks to the FBI Pittsburgh Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force and the FBI Atlanta-Gainesville Resident Agency for providing us with information and assisting with the apprehension of Dominici, Jr.
